Final Concerts

DYCE final concerts, November/December 2020

We are happy to share with you the recordings of DYCE final concerts!

From the 30th of November to the 12th of December 2020 the four DYCE ensembles performed in their respective cities (Seville, Oslo, Tallinn and Milan) the four new pieces commissioned to the final winners of DYCE competition:

João Ceitil, SarabaNde, for violin, cello, bass flute, bass clarinet, piano and percussion
Andreas Tsiartas, Ìérkos, for ensemble
J-T Vesikkala Wittmacher, into these worldless houses
Yiqing Zhu, Partita, for sextet

Unfortunately, due to the covid emergency, the concerts were mostly realized behind closed doors, in empty theatres, without an audience. The performance in Tallinn took place at the studios of the Estonian Klassikraadio.

This is an important and unique opportunity to listen to four different interpretations of the same four pieces.

Since we could not meet our audience in the concert halls, we are glad to be able to share this amazing listening experience online.
